Science of Him is an e-commerce wellness platform that offers scientifically researched and tested products along with consultations to make men’s lives better, more empowered, and free from insecurities & social taboos.
NH1 Design was tasked with developing a brand name and crafting a unique identity, packaging and design language for Science of Him. From the nomenclature to the packaging, the purpose was to create a brand that truly resonates with the underlying issues men face, encouraging them to address them.

The main challenge was to create a brand that not only resonates with the underlying issues men face but also encourages them to address them. The question was, “How do you normalize having a conversation around men’s personal health problems?”
Right from the brand name, the strategy was to attach the brand to the world of science. It was essential to add science to the conversation because it is the science that allows them to break the stigma from the subjects that surrounds sexual wellness, baldness and skin problems.
The Science of Him packaging is divided into four broad categories, each of which addresses a specific issue: hair, skin, vitality, and wellness. A colour palette was created for easy differentiation, and each category received its own layer of scribble-type product names, icons, and catchphrases.
A simple yet informative packaging system
The Science of Him packaging presented a challenge in communicating multiple layers of information while maintaining an elevated and minimal feel. The Front of the Pack includes the product name, product descriptor, hero ingredients, key benefits, and quantity (FOP). Elements such as usage instructions, detailed benefits, and ingredient descriptions reinforce Science of Him’s transparency and values.
